Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert

The limit on non-residential outdoor gatherings is 500 people or less, including:

  • Park Events 
  • Street Events 
  • Religious Events or Processions 

The City will not issue permits for events that:

  • Utilize more than one City block or Pedestrian Plaza 
  • Interfere with Open Streets or Open Restaurants 
  • Include the use of a stage or video screen with amplified sound 
  • In parks that unreasonably diminish public use

Street Events

Permits are required for street activities such as block parties, parades, protests, and street fairs. Street events are issued permits by the Community Affairs Unit, with advice from local Community Boards.
