You can file a complaint about purchases at gas stations in New York City.
Complaints may include:
- Water in gasoline
- Differences between stated price per gallon versus the actual price charged per gallon
- Mislabeling of unleaded gasoline
The Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) does not set prices at the pump and will not accept complaints about increases in gas prices.
