The Department for the Aging (DFTA) provides funding to some community-based organizations which provide transportation services for adults over 60.
You can find an organization in your neighborhood that provides transportation to:
- Senior centers
- Educational and recreational activities
- Essential medical and social service appointments
Use Site Finder to search for Senior Transportation near you. Contact them by phone. If you get the voicemail system, leave a message with your contact information and you'll get a call back.
DFTA also accepts complaints about the policies, services, and employees of senior transportation providers.
