You can report inadequate ventilation inside a building or a ventilation or exhaust system that is illegal, installed improperly, or has an odor.

You can report inadequate indoor air ventilation.

Your report should provide the following:

Your complete address, including apartment number, and a contact phone number or e-mail address.
Your landlord or management company's name and address.

Anonymous complaints are accepted. If you provide your name and contact information, it will not be shared with your landlord or management company.

Report inadequate indoor air ventilation.

You can report a ventilation or exhaust system that is illegal, installed improperly, or that has an odor.

If a ventilation and exhaust system is installed improperly, exhaust may enter another apartment or home.

Include in your report:

The type of odor
If odor is coming from a nearby establishment

Report ventilation or exhaust system problem.
