Coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert

Animal Care Centers located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island are open. Services are provided by appointment only.

You can get more information online or by calling (212) 788-4000.

Visit the Animal Care Centers of NYC website.

Animal Care Centers of NYC will accept pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals kept as pets, at Care Centers for a fee. They will not pick up unwanted pets from the homes of pet owners.

If the pet cannot be adopted or placed with a New Hope Partner, it may be humanely euthanized.

The cost to surrender a pet is $10 per animal with an appointment and $35 without an appointment. This fee will be put toward the cost of your pet’s care during their stay with the Animal Care Centers.

Make an appointment and learn more about additional surrendering services.
