Need something else?

The City has enacted public health social distancing and face covering rules to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Face covering rules are still in effect for:

  • City buildings and spaces for clients and visitors
  • City employees who are unvaccinated or interact with the public
  • Health care settings
  • Public transit

Businesses can choose to require masks for all customers.

Social distancing rules are still in effect for City employees who are unvaccinated.

The City only accepts reports of social distancing or face covering violations at City offices or buildings.

The City does not accept reports about lack of social distancing or face coverings at any other type of location.

You can report a City office or building not in compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Call 311 for assistance.

To report face covering violations on the subway or buses, contact the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) online.
